Royal Life Saving NSW required a flexible learning system to cater to various stakeholders. As one of Canopi’s oldest clients, they have continually invested in high-quality solutions and systems. Over the years, we have created numerous artefacts, including:

Based in regional Australia, TacMed Training specialises in tactical medicine training. Their mission is to provide top-tier emergency medical training and equipment to first responders in high-threat and complex environments. Major clients include the Australian Federal Police, NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service, QLD & Tasmania Police, Surfing NSW, and Seroco.

Solution

TacMed, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), has unique delivery requirements due to the nature of their products and clients. Canopi developed an online training system tailored to these specific needs. Key features include:

• Integration with the student management system for automated transfer of training records.
• Bulk enrolment system allowing clients to book blended learning courses, allocate, and replace enrolments up to the course day

With over 1.4 million learners enrolled, Canopi has a long-standing association with Australian sports. Rugby Australia, a peak body working closely with international federations, needed a reliable system with complex CRM and membership integrations, along with a specific certification accreditation system.

Solution

Canopi developed a best-in-breed accreditation system within the LMS, providing incredible flexibility in designing accreditation pathways. This system allows Rugby Australia to lead their members through an engaging journey.

Outcome

Rugby Australia has experienced high participation uptake, reliable data transfer between systems, and a flexible payment solution, accommodating both direct payments and membership subscriptions.

Plant Health Australia (PHA), in partnership with Animal Health Australia, focuses on preparedness and response to biosecurity outbreaks in plant and animal stocks. PHA has been a long-term client of Canopi since 2001, continually enhancing their capabilities.

Solution

Canopi created a unique solution using subdomains, with a main tenant holding the master content and subdomains providing multiple entry points for each industry. This system allows for a secure administrative view of users while maintaining a single content master copy.

Outcome

PHA's solution facilitated rapid response during the 2007 equine influenza outbreak, training 4,000 people in 4 days before the vaccine arrived. Recently, PHA provided training materials to combat the varroa mite outbreak for beekeepers. Canopi aims to reposition PHA with a wider model, publishing their content across LMSs while controlling IP and maintaining a single content copy.
