    Hi,

A quick questions on quiz (micro quiz).

We have inserted tests/quiz into learning modules which is fine. We have feedback (single feedback) and in the tests, have selected the option that says that we would only want the user to resit the incorrect questions. All are automatic marking.

However. we notice that when the user goes through, that when the user submits a quiz, but gets the questions wrong, they still need to answer all the questions again.

Further, if they resit all questions, even if they subsequently select a wrong answer on a questions that they initially got correct, when they re submit the quiz, it shows there answer being correct. I assume this is because once they get the question correct, it is correct, even if they submit another incorrect answer.

We are hoping in our level 1 questions that if they dont get 100%, the system would only get them to re do the questions they got wrong, and not have to answer the correct questions again.

Does this make sense? Can you help?

    Many thanks for your time?

    Hi Andrew,

The resit incorrect answers is designed for the exam player, tests that sit outside of the course player, as such it does not work 100% in the micro quiz format.

The functionality is currently being extended to support micro quizzes and will work as you desire when it is updated. I am not sure of the time frame for this update but I hope it will be added in the next build which will be around mid December.

If it is a large quiz I can suggest putting it in the exam player and that way they will only have to resit the incorrect questions, not all of them. Let me know if you would like to do this and i will guide you through the steps.

    Thanks
    Michael
