    Hi there,

Thanks for the training the other day - it was great! I've begun to "play" and develop...

As a starting point - putting some things into the style guide. Relating to this, getting some input from our comms/marketing person, which has resulted in this query...

What is the size of the background picture on the log-in page?

Looking at the ASC's portal... they seem to have a box that remains the same size, whilst the image in the background stretches and changes size as you manipulate the size of the browser window you are in - how do we do that?

Hope I'm following the correct procedure - couldn't find anything in the support docs.

I see you've got the "design" module up now too, will look at that soon!

    Thanks in advance,

    Chris

    Hey Chris,

The login picture is usually 1920 x 1080, but the trick is to make the JPG compression pretty low so that the file size isn't huge. We often get the compression down to 60% and the file size down around 250K.

It's a bit of a compromise but anything below about 400K in size is usually OK.

When comparing to the ASC site, that behaviour is automatic if your site isn't a using a theme. A theme is a custom styling for a site, and I've just turned your's off so it should be behaving itself a bit better now.

Only other to check when I look at your site is that the size is 1920 x 1080. It looks a bit wider than that to me

    Any questions post back here

    Cheers
